Remember Me
Steven Seagal, William Forsythe, Gina Gershon, Jerry Orbach
Steven Seagal is at his finest as New York cop Gino Felino whose best pal is gunned down by mafia boss Richie Madano (William Forsythe with a dodgy Mario-type tash) in broad daylight. It's no secret that they have some history, and this time he wants vengeance. Returning to Richie's bar pretty much again and again for the rest of the movie to pick a fight, soon you'll also be asking yourself, "Has anybody seen Richie?" !!
Richie goes to the fight-club bar, and along with the guy whose teeth were knocked out before by Seagal wielding a pool ball in a towel, shoots up the place and the unlucky punters enjoying a pint. Seagal has had enough. He finally finds out from Gina Gershon where Richie is hiding, and packs a shotgun for the journey. We also find out along the way that Seagal's married mate Bobby was murdered because he was having an affair with Richie's girlfriend. Seagal turns up at the house. He doesn't bother knocking but blasts his way inside, shooting all the goons inside one by one. At the top, he finds Richie with his hostage ... and kills him by a corkscrew to the forehead. Job done. The other cops who turn up late aren't that happy, but he doesn't really care.
