So the Undead start burrowing under the prison complex, and snatch a few of the inhabitants. When a giant zombie with an axe starts hammering down the gates, Alice breaks out Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller), where it's not clear whether he was a prison guard or a serial killer but soon forgotten about anyway, and as it happens is supposedly the brother of Claire. Not one for family reunions, all that is soon forgotten about too.
They take care of 'The Executioner' in the prison shower room, and slice off his head 'Goliath style' to make sure he stays dead this time.
They need to swim to a submerged armoury, pick up some weapons, lose some more survivors, and then get back to the roof to find that the Movie Producer dude (oh how the constant "in jokes" made me chortle) has taken off with the plane.
The only way out is through the sewage tunnels. Luther is the next to be left behind, grabbed by zombies, leaving only Alice, Claire and Chris. They board a little boat and head out to the ship - Arcadia. Can Zombies swim? Heading out to a little Hawaiian island might be the answer to everything.
On board everything is working still, but it is deserted. The plane is there - but no sign of Bennett the producer. According to the ship's computer, all the inhabitants are still onboard.
They search the hold - and in a nice, white room they bring up all the survivors who have been suspended in a comatose state. Claire has some flashbacks of what happened before.
The next room has a few choppers, while at the end of the tanker Alice comes face to face with Albert Wesker - who can't control has own T-virus cannibalistic tendencies. She defeats his dogs, but Wesker gets away on a chopper. He sets the boat to self destruct - but turns around to see the bomb sat next to him, and he blows up instead. But he has probably escaped with the help of a parachute.
Luther shows himself from the sewage tunnel, still alive, to catch the fireworks.
Alice broadcasts the message for survivors to make their way to Arcadia again, and the inhabitants take to the top deck for a spot of sunbathing ... before a vast fleet of Umbrella gunships bear down on the tanker.
