Plot:

Five childhood friends (Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider) reunite after 30 years for the funeral of their championship-winning basketball coach over the Fourth of July weekend. Staying at the old lake house with their families, they relive the old times, tease each other and, well, nothing much else happens but you know there's going to be a basketball game at some point against their childhood rivals.

So, how does it end?

Usual story - at first the guys have nothing in common any more, then they all realise they still share a lot. Their kids are awful at the beginning - until they learn to turn off their PS3s and play with cups and skimming stones, turning them into fantastic human beings again. Kurt's wife (Salma Hayek) realises she puts work before her family, and learns to let go. All that takes about the first hour of the movie - and just in case it wasn't obvious, it's all explained in a group session by Rob Schneider's old wife.

So we get up to the 4th of July barbecue. Kurt is challenged by his nemesis Dickie to a rematch. Wiley (Steve Buscemi) is still in a body cast from the water park, so it's going to be 5 onto 4 - and they should have no excuse with this one. The good guys seem to be winning, then the minor players are too tired to continue so it ends with Kurt and his son against Dickie and his boy - and for some reason all the town seems to be captivated by a game that is now completely pointless and just two dads and lads shooting hoops.

The next point will win it - and the plays moves to the right, to the spot where Kurt never misses. He looks at the face of his enemy, and decides to lose on purpose as it means mroe to Dickie. The balls hits against the rim and Dickie sinks the rebound. He's pretty happy with himself.

David Spade is a little drunk during the fireworks and decides to play the arrow game again. Everyone makes a run for it. Chris Rock's mother (or mother in law?) falls head first into mud, and Steve Buscemi's Wiley cannot move -- he wins, but the arrow embeds itself into his foot.
