They track Pike, leader of the rival Black Ops team, to Germany and stage a hit to kidnap the mystery Sheik buyer and also the briefcase full of the plates. They abseil down skyscrapers, Murdock whisks away the sheik in a chopper, but Pike is on a mission and chases after BA who has the briefcase. Hannibal knocks him over, and should just kill him, but of course that would finish the movie early.
They leave him to be picked up by the cops, but he doesn't cooperate and Lynch from the CIA turns up to take him away. Meanwhile Hannibal figures it out that the Sheik is in fact the Army General Morrison that first put them on the job and was supposed to be dead. They get out of the hideout just in time before an air strike destroys the place - and Morrison.
Hannibal makes a call on a tapped line to exchange the General and the plates to clear their names. Lynch and Pike then sort out a deal. Face calls Sosa on a second, untapped, line to arrange the proper plan.
The A Team wait at the docks, and Face tries to do a Chase the Ace/3 card Monty style trick with huge containers to disguise which one holds Hannibal. They distract the CIA, but Pike fires a small rocket into the ship - which for some reason does a tremendous amount of damage and takes the whole enormous cargo liner down.
Pike finds Hannibal and the hooded captive General. He shoots Morrison in the head, and then Hannibal in the chest. Good job he got that the right way round. Sosa shows up and arrests Pike. Hannibal is unharmed thanks to a bullet proof vest, while Murdock was wearing a metal head piece surrounded by tomato ketchup packets for that realistic blood splatter effect.
The A Team are arrested again for breaking out of prison. Sosa kisses Face, slipping him a key to the handcuffs. As they are taken away, Face tells the guys he 'loves it when a plan comes together'. It then ends with a similar (but not as good) voice-over title version to the TV series.
