Plot:

David Rice (Hayden Christensen) is a normal boy growing up with the usual problems - girls, bullies, and transporting himself without ending up at the school library. Taking advantage of his new ability, David soon leaves home and makes a new life for himself as a man of leisure - all funded by his part time job as a bank robber. But it's not long before his movements are tracked by someone with a particular taste for eliminating these "jumpers"...

So, how does it end?

Roland and his team of paladins capture Millie in her apartment. David and Griffin manage to get her out to his lair - and Griffin steals the device so they cannot follow - but with a rope Roland drags her back through the portal.
Griffin has a bomb that he now plans to use knowing that all his enemies will be in the same room. David obviously cannot let that happen so they fight and jump through various places until finally David traps his fellow jumper on some electricity pylons.

David returns to help Millie and is snared in a number of electrical wire traps, but using all his strength he manages to transport the top half of her apartment. Roland cannot believe it. David returns to take Roland and drop him into a cave on top of a deserted mountain range.

Later, David walks up to a large house - and meets with his mum (who, as it turns out, is a head honcho in the paladin world), and his half-sister. She explains that he first jumped at a young age, and she couldn't kill her son, but was true to her beliefs and thought it best just to leave. She then gives him a headstart.
David meets Millie outside and whisks her away somewhere nice.
