Plot:

Bay City. Sometime in the 1970s. Straight-talking cop David Starksy (Stiller) is partnered with slacker Ken Hutchinson (Wilson) to bust a case involving a new taste & odourless brand of cocaine that is set to enter the country. Using leads from snitch Huggy Bear (Snoop Dogg), a convict with a thing for Hutch (an excellent Will Ferrell) and a white-striped Ford Torino, Reese Feldman (Vaughn) doesn't stand a chance.

So, how does it end?

Taken off the case, Starsky and Hutch still pursue their leads which leads them to a fund-raising event organised by Feldman where he has invited Bay City's finest - and his usual drug dealing buddies.  Starsky and Hutch enter in disguise with the cheerleaders, and soon realise that the prizes (new cars) are being won by the dealers.

Hutch pretends to have a winning ticket and they both get onto the stage angering Feldman. They draw their guns, take off their disguises and demand that Feldman 'pops the hood'.  He refuses so they shoot the lock and everyone can see the bags of Coke inside.

Feldman takes Hutch hostage.  Starsky tries to shoot Reese but misses badly and clips the captain - who reinstates them back on to the Force immediately and tells them to chase after the bad guys.  They hop into the Ford Torino and chase Feldman over a golf course and down to the Bay where he has his yacht ready.

They try to "land" the car onto the boat but overshoot and crash into the water.  Meanwhile Huggy Bear is onboard and knocks out Feldman with a golf club.

Back at headquarters, everyone is celebrating the biggest drug-bust in their history - although we hear one of the cases disappeared and Huggy is wearing a set of very fine new threads after recently coming into some money from a rich uncle.  Outside they have a surprise waiting for Starksy - where the original Starksy & Hutch team show up to hand over the keys to a new Torino.

The new Starksy and Hutch take it for a ride through the city streets as Aerosmith kicks in for the closing credits.  I know, I've seen this movie too many times.
