Ellen Brody is convinced that Jaws is still out to get her and her family, and suffers from flashbacks (to events she hasn't witnessed) and nightmares of the shark attacks. When her son Sean is attacked and eaten up in Long Island, Ellen decides the best course of action is to move down to a small Caribbean island surrounded by warm water. Jaws hears about this on the grapevine, and follows them a few thousand miles south without asking for directions.
At the Bahamas Ellen is going to get a surprise when her stalker comes knocking wanting revenge ... for being killed a few times.

So, how does the movie end??
When Jaws follows them to the Bahamas, and her little grand-daughter is almost snaffled while riding a banana boat ride, Ellen takes action. She steals a boat and sails out into the ocean.
Michael and the others worry about her sanity, so they jump onto Hoagie's plane and fly out to intercept her.
Jaws is already way ahead of them and is circling the boat. In desperation, Hoagie crash lands into the water, and they swim over to be with her. They wait as they hear Jaws' heartbeat using the sonar device they planted before, and giving him electric shocks as someone had the great idea to make him even more angry.
The wise-cracking Jake (never a good idea for screen life to be a wise-cracking dude from an ethnic minority in an 80s action movie ... unless you're Eddie Murphy) is the first to be grabbed from the boat and eaten alive by Jaws.
As the boat gets pounded by the shark, the men look on helpless ...
Until Ellen all of a sudden slams the prow of the ship straight through the rubber shark prop. It flails around a bit, kicking up some water, then dies ... or returns to being a zombie shark to stalk her again, I'm not sure how that bit works in this series.
Even Jake manages to float to the surface.
Ellen returns home, back to her knitting and shark-free life.
