So, how does the movie end??

The crew load up some poison and head to the Ocean to bring down the Meg. Suyin enters a reinforced cage and prepares to fire the dart at the Meg, but they don't count on the shark swimming underneath and trying to take the cage away.

Suyin manages to fire the poison dart into its mouth, and is rescued, again, by Jonas. A long while later, the shark feels the effects and its eyes roll back in its head. The others somehow manage to retrieve it from the water and hang it up as a trophy from the boat ...

Until suddenly a second Meg jumps from the water, snatches the hanging trophy, and drags it back into the water, obliterating the boat. The crew scramble to smaller rafts and get away, but Dr Zhang soon succumbs to his wounds and doesn't make it back alive.

Morris, the billionaire, calls time on the project and tells the crew he has alerted authorities to handle the problem. Secretly though he keeps it under wraps and sends out a different team to drop depth charges into the Ocean and destroy it before anyone else is aware.

His A-Team destroy a carcass - which turns out to be a whale, the Meg was hiding beneath it. Morris is knocked off the boat, and the Meg takes a big chunk out of him while he clings on to the whale blubber.

The crew hack into Morris' system to track the Meg, and plot the shark's course to a popular China beach resort. It is about to start a feeding frenzy when Jonas and Suyin tempt it away with whale sounds, and wait to fire torpedos at it. News helicopter teams fly over to the crew's boat, but somehow manage to collide with each other, and completely destroy it.

Jonas has one chance to take it out, and bravely goes head-to-head, managing to 'make it bleed' by slicing it open. It is chomping down on his Phantom Menace style underwater submarine, but he escapes just in time then grabs a javelin and stabs it in the eye.

The Meg rises to the surface, where Jonas slams the point straight through to its brain, and then jumps. Finally the Meg is dead ... and we see that even little Pippin the dog has survived, so the Chinese wedding couple will have a happy honeymoon after all!
