Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) has recruited a group of Jewish (and just plain crazy) soldiers to attack Nazis as revenge for their atrocities. Raine's squad are ordered to meet with German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) for their ultimate mission to take out the leaders of the Third Reich who have gathered together at the premiere of a German propaganda film in Paris. Meanwhile, the cinema owner, Shosanna, whose Jewish family were murdered by the evil Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (an excellent Christoph Waltz) has plans of her own...

So, how does the movie end??
After the fiasco at the club when the best character is shot dead (the good guy German Stiglitz), the plan for the mission is falling apart. They decide to bring Aldo and two others with a minimal use of Italian on board as part of Bridget's Italian film crew.
Meanwhile Landa is hunting for clues and finds a woman's shoe amongst the debris in the club - and a fresh autograph for little Max by Bridget Von Hammersmark.
At the cinema, Bridget introduces her film crew to an inquisitve Landa - who of course is fluent in Italian - and it's obvious Aldo can pretty much just speak the basics. The other two soldiers take their seats as Aldo is told to wait outside by Landa who takes Bridget aside where he tests if the shoe will fit - and then strangles her in a fit of rage. He then tells his men to capture Aldo and rendezvous with him away from the cinema.
Shosanna prepares the reels to play as the cinema will soon erupt into flames and says goodbye to her friend - but the hero of the movie pesters her at the projection room - and she shoots him. In retaliation, and not quite dead, he shoots the girl he loves repeatedly and they both lie in pools of blood.
The two fake Italian film crew have sticks of dynamite tied to their legs, and all the hierarchy of the Third Reich are now in the cinema, loving the violence of the movie. One of the guys goes to find Aldo and notices the location of the VIP box holding Hitler and Goebbels. He gets his friend and they plan their attack, disguised as waiters.
Lando is interrogating Aldo and one of the Jewish soldiers ('Ryan the Temp' from the Office) - but to their amazement tells them that he hasn't called in the plot yet -- and won't do if he can strike a deal. Making calls directly to the guys at the top, they arrange for a number of terms, eg where Lando will be taken to America and rewarded for his part in the plot to end the war early.
At the cinema the reel kicks in showing Shosanna's message of revenge while the projectionist starts the fire. The two fake Italians burst into the VIP box and gun down everyone inside including Hitler and Goebbels!!! You won't see that one coming. As the cinema starts to burn they stand and fire bullets into the Nazi crowd. At this point the dynamite strapped to their legs (plus extra sticks laid by Landa in the VIP box) explode.
Landa and one of his men take Aldo and Utivich to the border where they switch positions - but Aldo shoots the German and the Temp scalps him. Then, uneasy that Landa will get away with being a Nazi, Aldo prepares to give him his 'masterpiece' - and starts to engrave a swastika into the man's forehead as he screams in pain.
