So, how does the movie end??

So it's supposedly a collection of inter-related stories and sub-plots, but there isn't too much in common with about 90% of the scenes except maybe people might catch a glimpse of Jamie Foxx on tv.
Basically, Jessica Alba (Ashton Kutcher's fiancee in the movie) has a change of heart and instead of just saying ""let's wait a while longer"" decides to leave him for good, for no particular reason.  He's upset but not broken-hearted it seems, or more likely just not the best acting, and his friends all say the usual ""I told you so"".
At the flower shop he serves Patrick Dempsey and learns that he is the man seeing his best pal Jennifer Garner - and is still married.  Determined to help his friend avoid heartache he tries to stop her flying out to meet him at the airport, but she leaves anyway.
Jennifer Garner tries to surprise the Doc at the hospital but finds out he is enjoying a romantic meal with his wife - so she turns up pretending to be a waitress and causes a scene.

Bradley Cooper turns out to be a mega rich bloke and offers Julia Roberts a lift back to her place in a chauffeur-driven limo.

Jamie Foxx gives a 'heart warming' news piece and gives credit to the Quarterback who earlier outed himself on tv.  The gay footballer ends up with Bradley Cooper.

A lot of the girls go to the lonely anti-Valentine's day party including Jennifer Garner.  The little boy shows up to give her a present, but is then convinved to give it to the Indian girl instead.

Jennifer Garner and Ashton Kutcher then forget everything else and kiss, so at least they are happy now. It's been a long day.

The moonlighting phone sex girl is accepted by her boyfriend, and Queen Latifah answers a call by the perverted Russian guy and seems to enjoy a new career path.

Our Comments:

Not happy to put this under the ""comedy"" category at all. It's basically a US version of Love Actually without the quirkiness or ""British"" humour.  The only good thing about it is the phenomenal A-list cast, and even more amazing how the producers managed to get them all together without showing them the script first.  I can't see them being available for the sequel.
