Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt) is in college and trying to get her life together after the mad goings-on a year earlier. Things have broken down with her ex Ray (Freddie Prinze Jnr) and she has a new guy in her life - Will Benson. Her roomate (Brandy) wins a trip for 4 to the Bahamas in a radio competition, and it's a great opportunity for them to get away from the stress of exams and grab a little sunshine.
While doing a bit of Karaoke, the first note shoots across the screen. Oh yes, Ben still knows what you did last summer.
Our Rating: 6/10 - Maybe even a 7 on a good day.
Watchability: 6/10 - Even though you know what happens, it's a good background movie

We'll start after they find crazy voodoo stuff in the Old Man's cupboard (Bill Cobbs from Night at the Museum). He is now suspect #1, and the guys go off to find him.
Julie notices a spinning globe, walks over to it, and sees that Brasilia is the capital of Brazil and not Rio. The old man is sat watching, and tells them that the radio competition was rigged.
He takes them to a graveyard on the island, and tells them of a guy who worked there who murdered his wife. At the grave of the man's wife there is painted something about Julie being next.
The old man disappears. Will Benson finds him at the dock trying to leave on a boat - and the old man attacks him.
The rest of the group find the barmaid's hideout, who gives Tyrell a good hiding. While in the kitchen making small talk, Ben fish-hooks Tyrell through the throat and throws him around a little. The three girls (Julie, Brandy and Nancy) scream and run off. Ben calmly walks after them, and still somehow manages to keep up the pace like in all these Friday the 13th type movies.
They find some ladders and make it up to a loft. Ben follows, and grabbing Brandy they fall through the ceiling. Out a window, Brandy falls onto a glass greenhouse roof but soon crashes through. Again. Locked out, she tries to get back into the complex as Ben calmly approaches.
They get her inside, and find themselves in some meat locker with all the bodies - and then Benson arrives to lead them away.
Benson reveals himself to be a bit of a psycho to Julie.
The Old Man has been stabbed and enters the building and falls on top of Nancy. Ben walks towards them. Nancy is taken out. He then throws Brandy through a glass door.
The worst part of the movie - Benson tells Julie that he is ""Benson ... you know, Ben's - Son?!"" and then ""Hi, Dad"" to his old man behind Julie.
Freddie shows up with a gun to confront them at the graveyard. They fight. Julie bites Ben's hand. Freddie loses. Will holds Julie as Ben, comedy style, take a run-up to kill her. She ducks away and Benson gets it in the chest. Julie grabs the gun and shoots Ben several times, and he falls into the open grave. But not in the head ... just shoot him in the head.
Next day a coast guard chopper flies overhead, and Brandy crawls out from some hole somewhere to join the other two survivors.
Cut to the future. Julie and Ray (Freddie) are living happily ever after. She walks around the top floor of the house, and notices an open window ... but not the large number of muddy footprints on the floor. She wanders around the house. Ray is happy brushing his teeth.
She sits on the bed, watching a cuddly toy, when in the mirror she spies Ben, hiding under her, who pulls her feet and she disappears under the bed with a scream.
